This will enable me to have critical thinking necessary to help me advance my career in the fields of actuarial science and management consulting. The courses I expect to broaden my knowledge in this area include differential calculus, linear and applied algebra, differential equations, projectory calculus, differential   integration, integration and infinite series, programming, microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, principles of economics, principles of accounting, analysis, probability theory, applied statistics and geometric series analysis. I hope to pursue further studies in applied mathematics in this university. The services provided by the university such as group discussions, availability of tutorial services, counseling, credit transfers, research opportunities, academic career advancement in system engineering and management science makes this university my ideal place to nurture my career goals. The university is also well equipped with other resources such as academic staff, housing, financial support, and diverse student population. It also has a good learning environment for all students. This is without the unique teaching dissemination of curriculum and extensive experience in teaching. The university also offers an international recognition that is well reputed worldwide. I am also an active participant in extra-curricular activities such as taekwondo, fitness, hockey, ice-skating and athletics. I have participated in fitness school competition and won several awards. I have also competed in taekwondo and won id different categories. I have participated in charity and community service within the community and back at home. I usually visit orphanages and volunteer donations such as foodstuffs and essential items to the orphans. My interest in this field has been due to the exposure I have received since my childhood where my parents live in the one of the largest industrial cities in China, Shanghai. I hope that when I graduate I will be able to get employment in one of the industries. I also intend to start my own firm that deals with management consultancy in actuarial science. During summer holidays I  Ã‚   have been worked in several engineering companies as electrical technician where I have done system installation of electrical equipments, worked as safety and electrical appliances maintenance in alternate energy sources. This exposure has helped to me expand my understanding and given me the urge to look for more knowledge and skills for future career. This will be achieved when I get the scholarship and admission to this university. I hope I will be able to acquire this valuable asset. REFERENCE Pasadena City College, Electrical engineering.
